Giving up on Marriage itself is easy

One of the more disturbing trends in relationships in May 2008 in Australia is the tendency of unhappy family members to throw their hands in the air and give up on the very idea .Point is, it seems natural for them to do that , even though in the bigger picture ( christian post modern annd scientific) the rationale is shallow pathetic rubbish .

High divorce and separation is one thing, but who would have thought the western trend would sink so low as to abandon the very idea of marriage altogether . But yes its happening all around us in the west.Feelings come first .

Of course the new modern world views of techno worship and self referencing rationale allow us to very legitimately ( because they give "moral assent")to "throw out what doesn't work". (for us, that is ) . This puffed up emotional drivel and shallow thinking unfortunately has the power of moral imperatives to add" credibility " to its self cenetred self justifying rationale . hence its unoffensive presence in TV dramatics .
Its really pain preventing ongoing pleasure, but the shallow preoocupation of the feelings generation prevents reconciliation.
